Much Ado About Nothing
By William Shakespeare

February 26 to March 23, 2008

Sparks fly in one of Shakespeare's favorite romantic comedies set against the backdrop of Sicily in a fast paced, yet intricate tale of wit, jealousy, and romance. Old flames Beatrice and Benedick are tricked by their friends into believing that each is in love with the other. Their "merry war" leads to both a sharp examination of dishonesty and deception, and a boisterous celebration of the overwhelming power of love. Meanwhile, the tricksters themselves are the prey for a scheming nobleman, Don Juan, who tries to break up their own budding romance. Featuring some of the Bard’s sharpest one-liners and most memorable lovers, this hilarious battle-of-the-sexes has it all!
